FALCONS ICE HOCKEY CLUB

2017 wasn't quite the season we hoped it would be for our Senior A team, with the standard of hockey in this non-checking league being some of the best we have seen for many years.  Our team showed much promise only missing out on quite a few wins by the smallest of margins.

In 2018 we will be entering our best players into this competition and giving some of our developing Junior players the opportunity to move from Senior A to the Premier League team and gain much needed experience at a higher level.  Senior A will be the development League for our future Premier League players with our focus on what we need to buld a strong and determined mindset for the Club!

The future for the Club is bright with a number of our female players representing the Falcons at a National level in 2016 / 17, playing with the Adelaide Rush in its inaugural season and also at an International level representing Australia.  Now they will be able to take their skills to the next level in atop tier no checking competition!

 

This is a fantastic move forward for Ice Hockey in South Australia and will benefit many players in seasons to come, with the equivalent of a second A Grade competition in a non checking environment!

 

Looking forward to the first season of this high level non checking league.  "GO BLUE"!!!!!
